Zero ambience (as it's takeout / delivery only) but they let us eat in. The food was absolutely divine. Amazing. Family owned restaurant, the kids are doing homework on the side as the immigrant parents run the show, the older sibling answers the phone with her American accent that probably helps. This is an absolute winner . No frills. Remarkable food and I'll be going back often. I hope you try it. Enjoy!

I order takeout and delivery from here all the time. Definitely my go-to for when I treat myself to eating out. Their food is consistently awesome, and the people who run it are so kind! I love this place.

Some of the best American Chinese food I've had in the cities! I've lived here all my life and I can't find another place that does egg foo young the way they do! I just wish they had dine in :( Highly recommended!

So good!!! We are from Iowa and have been in Minnesota for about 3 months now, and I was craving Chinese. I'm so thankful I found this gem. My husband had the orange chicken, I had beef lo main without vegetables, and we shared the fried rice and wonton. It cost 36, which is decent for the amount of DELICIOUS food we received. We'll get several meals out of this easy. Service was very fast, and everyone was pleasant. Even the fortune cookies were yummy . Thank you!!!

This place is a true hole in the wall spot. I’m so happy we found it! Its prices cannot be beat and the food is good! We have ordered a few times now and nothing has disappointed. My boyfriend has loved the house fried rice. We also have tried the garlic chicken, beef and broccoli, Singapore noodles, and sesame tofu and beef. My favorites have been the Singapore noodles, beef and broccoli and sesame tofu but all have definitely been worth the price. I highly recommend. It is a take out/ delivery spot. The people who work there are lovely. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried a lot of other Chinese places in South Minneapolis, and I haven’t found anything that tops Xin Wong. I drive past 4 or 5 other Chinese places to get here. That’s how much I like it.

Chinese takeout. I've been going here for years now. My "go to" Chinese restaurant. Other reviews complain about the young girl taking orders. She is very efficient and direct. English is her second language. She grew up in this restaurant . I don't believe she is intentionally rude. More of a cultural thing, just getting the orders in. Also, her mother is very kind. Everyone in this place is working hard. You can sit, and watch the cooks making all of the food. I don't order ahead, and they still make it, and package it up amazingly fast. Their stir fried chicken with vegetable meals are great. The garlic or curry sauces are the best ones . I also really like their chicken egg foo young.
